Patricia Boyd, 74, of Athens, passed away Thursday, May 30th, 2024, at Madison Manor. She was born October 19th, 1949, in Athens, Alabama, to John and Mary Jane (Henderson) Haggard.
She is survived by her daughters Kelli Thornton (Bryan), Jennie Romine (Jason), Patty Townley (Harold), and Ashley Waugh (Jerry); grandchildren Jay Romine (Tesslynn), Jordan Romine, Jeremy Romine (Lane), Autumn Townley, Nick Townley, Cheyann Townley, Kyle Thornton (Brittney), Kasey Mewbourn (Tyler), Ace Waugh, and Molly Waugh; great-grandchildren Ellie Allen, Gunnar Thornton, Samuel McMahan, Branch Romine, and Teddy Mewbourn; brother James Haggard; and sisters Sue Hathcoat and Gloria Haggard;
Mrs. Boyd is preceded by her parents John and Mary Jane Haggard; husband Bobby Boyd; and brother Jonathan Haggard.
Mrs. Boyd was a member of Elkview Church. She loved Jesus and her family.
After a private graveside service, the memorial service will be Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, at 3:30 p.m., at Elkview Church, 12825 Lentzville Rd., Athens, AL.
