Funeral for Patricia Ann Meadows Gurney, age 47, of Rogersville, AL. formerly of Hartselle, AL. will be Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with Alex Bates and Shane Britt officiating with burial in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Gurney was born September 12, 1965, in Limestone County, AL. to Edward Allen Meadows and Martha Lewis Dodd. She passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at her residence. She was a member of the Rogersville Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her father, Edward Allen Meadows; grandfather and grandmother, Reuben and Annie Meadows; and grandfather, C.A. Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, Mel Gurney; three daughters, Kristin Gurney, Amelia McCullouch, and Shianne Gurney; mother and father, Martha Lewis and Billy Joe Dodd; grandmother, Lila Lewis; two sisters, Kimberly Dodd Sawyer and Tina Dodd Hardin; and five grandchildren, Colt Beavers, Marlee Beavers, AtaLeigh Lovell, Grayson Lovell and Georgia McCullouch.
