Patricia Ann Keefe, 72, of Fort Payne, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She was born November 26, 1951 in DeKalb County, Alabama to the late Oscar Poe and Geneva Lyons Poe. She was a 1970 graduate of Sylvania High School where she was awarded the Good Citizen Award before completing her Associates Degree at Northeast State Community College. Pat worked with the Premiers gospel quartet for several years before working at Fort Payne Drug.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home with Fred Bullard and Steve Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. The family is accepting flowers or memorial contributions may be made the Gideon Foundation to provide Bibles.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years John Keefe; daughter Anna Keefe Herod and husband Seth; brothers Wilburn Poe and Jerry Poe and wife Joyce; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Bastell Poe and Troy Poe and sisters Codeen Bearden and Helen McDonald.
