A memorial service for Patricia Abbott Horn, age 81 of Ashland, will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Clairmont Springs Baptist Church at 1:30pm. The family will receive friends for a meal in the fellowship hall at 12:00pm prior to the service.

Patricia Horn went home to the Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her home. Pat was born December 30, 1942, in Vincent, AL to Robert Edgar Abbott and Helen Wilma Robertson Abbott. Pat attended school at Vincent City School and was a part of the class of 1961. Following her schooling she worked many jobs to help support her family. She met her best friend and future husband in 1964, shortly before he deployed to Germany for two years. They married in 1967 after he returned home. She was a talented seamstress and had a passion for making beautiful quilts and crocheted blankets for her family and friends. But most of all Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Helen Abbott, husband, Jerry Horn, brothers: Robert Earl Abbott, Floyd Abbott (Sarah), Curtis Abbott, Neal Abbott, and Ralph Abbott.

Pat is survived by her daughters Loretta Horn Fleming of Lincoln and Beverly Horn Adams of Ashland; Seven grandchildren: Langdon Goray (Danielle) of Anniston, Ladelle Goray of Vestavia Hills, Christian Adams (Tia) of Talladega, Bethany Adams of Ashland, Bert Fleming (Katie) of Talladega, Curtis Starkey of Talladega, and Matt Starkey of Talladega; Eight Great Grandkids: Emery, Abel, Scarlett, Colton, Holly, Sarah, Nevaeh, and Leland; One sister, Glenda Joyce Abbott Landers of Harpersville; Two brothers: Terry Abbott (Terri) of Vincent, and Jimmy Abbott (Shirley) of Vincent; Two sister-in-lawz; Rosie Abbott LaFleche of Childersburg, AL and Sugar Abbott of Sylacauga, AL, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
