Pasty Jennings Archer, age 77, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, Nov. 9th, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Steven Peden will officiate.
Mrs. Archer was a native of Danville, Virgina, but has lived in the Shoals area for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Archer; parents, Willie Leonard Jennings and Lena Strange Jennings; and sister, Peggy Calloway.
Survivors include her daughters, Robin Thomas of Hagerstown, Maryland, Janet Archer, of Muscle Shoals, Janice Archer, of Florence, and Anita Hutchens, of Leighton; grandchildren, Krystyna Thomas, Jacob Hutchens, and Lena Hutchens; brothers, James Jennings, Harold Jennings, and W.L. Jennings; sisters, Betty Downing and Carolyn Rumphrey; and son-in-law, Greg Thomas.
