Funeral Services for Mr. Paschal L. Luker, age 95 of Lineville, will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Larry Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at the Clay County Memory Gardens.

Mr. Luker passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Clay County Hospital. A native of Clay County, he also lived in Calhoun County, before returning for the last 40 years. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Mr. Luker was employed with Sears and Roebuck for 38 years as a warehouse manager, as well as serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning along with watching Alabama Football. Mr. Luker was a member of Lineville Baptist Church.

Mr. Luker is survived by his daughter, Pamela Moersch (Rick) of Jacksonville; two sons: Pat Luker (Sharon) of Weaver and Michael Luker of Lineville; three grandchildren: Christopher Luker (Jessica), Chad Luker, and Jessica Wiley (Shane); one great-granddaughter, Ella Wiley; and two sisters: Frances Woodruff and Ruby Jo Craven.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Joyce Stewart Luker; his parents, John Oats Luker and Vonie Lavada Williams Luker; two sisters: Lillie Brown and Nettie Gay McLendon; and one brother, Cordial Luker.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

His visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. The family would like to thank Dr. Fischer and Clay County Hospital.
