Parrish Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident Near Jasper

JASPER-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near Jasper that has taken the life of one person:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:50 a.m. Thursday, July 18, has claimed the life of a Parrish man.

Dylan C. Rodgers, 21, was fatally injured when the 2015 Ford Focus he was driving left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Rodgers was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 269 near Old Parrish Road, approximately one mile south of Jasper, in Walker County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
