Pansy Marie Johnston McLain, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, September 07, 2014 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, former employee of Salant & Salant, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Crewstown Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Benton and Cora Lillie Kimbrell Johnston; her husband, Edgar Earl “Bud” McLain; one grandson, Jason Lee McLain; six brothers, T. L. Johnston, Bruce Johnston, Edward Johnston, Gentry Johnston, Ivan Johnston, and Marcus Johnston; and one sister, Corine Kemper.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 09, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2014, with Jerry Taylor officiating. Family suggests memorials be made to Rett Syndrome through Neal Funeral Home. Interment will follow at McLain Family Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
