Pamela Hogland Payton, age 67 of Jasper, passed away October 29, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, John D. Hogland and Margie Norris Hogland, brother, John Michael Hogland and her sister-in-law, Chung Lee Hogland. Pam is survived by her loving husband, Danny Payton; son, Joshua Cabe Rackley; stepchildren; Leslie A. Payton, Donald B. Payton and Deron W. Payton; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Hogland (Judy) and Larry Hogland (Kimmy) several nieces, nephews as well as a host of extended family members and dear friends. Pam was a kind hearted woman. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist faith. She was a gifted floral designer and decorator. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to the mountains and the beach. Pam liked listening to Classic Country music and watching Alabama Football. Funeral services will be held at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home at 2pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2022. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service time. Pam will be laid to rest in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
