Pamela Green Jones (Pam), 73 of Huntsville, AL, passed away on October 7, 2024, at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville. Pam was born in Colbert County, AL to William and Azine Green on September 7, 1951. She attended Hatton High School, where she was a majorette and homecoming queen, graduating in 1969. Pam attended Samford University and the University of North Alabama earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. She was a special education teacher at Tennessee Valley Junior High School and Hazlewood High School. Pam served in the United States Army from 1981-85. She dearly loved her two sons, grandchildren, family and high school classmates.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Chauncey Jones of Huntsville and Chase Jones of Madison; her brother, Brad Green of Birmingham; and her companion, Murrel Crumpton of Town Creek; and grandchildren, Taylor Jones, Ty Jones, Chaiza Jones, Chaslin Jones and Chase Jones, Jr.

In honoring Pam’s final wishes, she is to be cremated with no formal services.
