Pamela Ellsworth McCoy, 54, died Tuesday at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born September 21, 1960 in Holly Springs to James Ralph and Thelma Clayton Taylor. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a former member of First Baptist Church, Verona. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going out to eat, watching the cooking channel and watching Chicago Cubs baseball.
Services will be 1 PM Friday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Dunlap and Bro. Donald Worsham officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery near Potts Camp. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy McCoy of Tupelo; one sister, Lisa Johnson (Calvert) of Holly Springs; two brothers, David Taylor (Candy) and Ronnie Taylor all of Potts Camp; her mother, Thelma Taylor of Potts Camp; 6 step-children, Lydia McCoy, April Carter, Regina Ellsworth, Kristy Ellsworth, David Lee Ellsworth and Amanda Goodloe; 29 step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and her first husband, David Ellsworth.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Trey Johnson, Cole Taylor, Calvert Johnson, Tristan House, Taylor House and John Ross House.
Visitation will be 5 – 7 Thursday
