Pamela Diane DuncanPamela Diane Duncan, 82, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  She was born June 16, 1942, in Savannah, Georgia, to Robert Lee and Nelle Maree Corvette Fears.  Pam graduated from Toccoa Falls High School and College in Georgia.  She learned to sew as a teenager out of necessity but later put her sewing skills to use.  When she and her late husband moved to Gadsden, Alabama, Pam started sewing for others and became well-known for her majorette and band uniforms, wedding and pageant dresses, and other types of seamstress work.  A Baptist in belief, Pam loved singing in her church choir and was a member of the DAR.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Mark Linder officiating.  Burial will be in the Dorsey Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Melanie Maree Duncan Hogue, of Marietta, Georgia; her grandsons, Adam Tyler Hogue, Daniel Kenneth Hogue, and Conner Jackson Hogue; and two half brothers, George Montgomery, Jr. and Gary Montgomery, both of Savannah, Georgia.

Pam was preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Duncan; her father, Robert Lee Fears; and her mother, Nelle Maree Corvette Montgomery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
