Ouida Mae BishopOuida Mae Bishop, 87, passed away early Saturday morning, December 23, 2023, at her home. She was born February 29, 1936, in Itawamba County to James Hermon and Leona Strange Barnes. She retired from Charm Step/Genesco after many years of service and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 29, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Robert Humphres officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Fulton.

Survivors include one granddaughter, Ashley Beach, and three great-grandchildren, all of Kansas; a brother, Rick Barnes, and sister, Wilma Barnes, both of Fulton; a special aunt, Winnie Strange of Mantachie; a stepson, Ronnie Bishop; a stepdaughter, Connie Houston; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lemois “John” Willis and Otis H. Bishop; her son, Tim Willis; her parents; five brothers, Jimmy, Billy, Bobby, Kenneth, and Roger Barnes; and two sisters, Polly Willis and Linda Howell.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday, December 29, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
