Otto Herman Lamsfuss, age 81 of Belvidere, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. He was born on December 9, 1941, in New York City, New York to the late Carl and Martha Lamsfuss. Otto lived a life of service to others. He taught Sunday School and sang in choirs all of his adult life and was a member of Winchester First United Methodist Church. Otto performed repair and maintenance chores for anyone who needed help, particularly church-going elders and widows. He worked on and was in charge of building several houses for Habitat for Humanity in Winchester. He was humble, loving, and kind to all. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helene Grunden. Otto is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Grace Lamsfuss; twin brother, Fred Lamsfuss of Texas; brother, Richard Lamsfuss of New York; sister, Rita Jacot of Indiana; adopted sons, Joel Lamsfuss of Kentucky, and Michael Lamsfuss of Indiana; six nieces and nephews.
