Otis Leon Head, age 78, of Tuscumbia, found his eternal rest on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at his son’s residence.
Leon proudly serviced his nation in the U.S. Army. He was a friend to everyone and loved to help people. He worked as a mechanic in the manufacturing industry. He loved hunting, fishing, and working in his shop. He loved his family and friends, but especially loved being PawPaw to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death his parents, Otis M. Head & Hattie Lee Davis Head.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Bart Head (wife, Robbi); daughter, Tina Rich (husband, Roger); grandchildren & great-grandchildren, Cody Kent, Brent Head, Lindsay Kent, Baylee Kent, Sydney Head, Dustin Kent, Brooklyn Kent, Lillie Ray, Adam Ray, Luka Taylor; sister, Brenda Willis; and a host of friends.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. James Waddell officiating the service. The burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Cody Kent, Brent Head, and Dustin Kent. The honorary pallbearer will be Pete Bates.
