Oscar A. Bussell – Obituary

Oscar A. Bussell was born Nov. 6, 1951, and

died Oct. 8, 2013, in Huntsville Hospital.

Oscar retired from Caterpillar, Lafayette Division, after 27 years.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Korea. He later served as an Army Reservist in Florida until 1981 as a Staff Sergeant.

His hobbies were his family, motorcycles, fishing and doing for others.

Oscar and Belinda, his wife, fell in love with beautiful north Alabama during many visits to this area. They retired and moved to Rogersville, Ala. in June 2010 in the Dells Vista Community, south of Rogersville.

His heart was filled with compassion for everyone around him and his friendliness was infectious by all who knew him.

Oscar’s daughter, Rebecca, and granddaughter, Kiersti, reside in Lebanon, Ind. His brother and wife, David and Donna, reside in Athens, Ala.

Funeral arrangements are by Rogersville Funeral Home and Sollor-Baker Funeral home in Lafayette. Services will be announced later.
