Orvle Eugene Cardwell, age 84 of Estill Springs, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at The Waters of Winchester. He was born in Hazel Green, Alabama on June 29, 1936 to the late Robert Earl and Plina Ryce (Bowen) Cardwell. Orvle served his country in the United States Air Force. Before his retirement, he was employed as a welder for Batesville Casket Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Malcolm Cardwell, Jane Cardwell, Glenn Cardwell, Bob Cardwell, and Carrie Dean Cardwell. Orvle is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Alcie Brewer Cardwell of Estill Springs; children, Pam Cardwell of Estill Springs, Reba Cardwell of Estill Springs, and Ray Cardwell (Joyce Fish) of Estill Springs; and brothers, Kenneth Cardwell of Tullahoma, and Carl Cardwell of Decherd.
