Orville L. Jackson, 87, of Huntsville passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. Mr. Jackson, formerly from Gadsden, Alabama was retired from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile command as an analyst with the AMCOM Logistics Center.
He is survived by his wife Elva Eloise “Lois” Jackson; sisters, Bonnie Jackson and Reba Booker; daughter, Linda (Bob) Doherty; son Roger (Debbie) Jackson, grandchildren Kim Powell, Steven (Amy) Jackson, Jennifer (Buck) Bishop, Whitney (Jay) Reynolds, Rob (Lisa) Doherty, Jim (Monica) Doherty and nine great-grandchildren, Zachary (Sophie) Gillette, Caden Jackson, Joanna Jackson, Shelley Bishop, Wilson Bishop, Morgan Doherty, Patrick Doherty, William Doherty and Thomas Doherty.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 6:00pm. Graveside will be on Monday, at 11:00am at Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Critical Care Unit #2. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
