Orlin Greeley Mr. Orlin G. Greeley, age 90 of Leighton, passed away on December 8, 2024. Services were held privately on Saturday, December 14 with pastor Howard Wilson officiating.

Mr. Greeley was the pastor of Big Bear Christian Center in California from 1973-1984. He was very faithful man who was well versed in the word of God. He owned and operated Greeley’s Engine Rebuilding; and he and his wife, Ruby Mae Alvern Greeley later went on to own the first bed and breakfast in the Shoals area, the Wood Avenue Inn.

Mr. Greeley is best described as a kind and faithful man filled with integrity. He was steady, soft spoken and always thought of others.

Mr. Greeley is survived by his children, Cathy Tarascou (Pete), Nancy Rhinehart (Steve), and Geoff Greeley (Karen); grandchildren, Jamie Parkinson, Jim Parkinson, Greg Tarascou, Mark Tarascou, Tommy Tarascou, Kristy Tarascou, Jessica Ballor, Jolena Simoneou, Jeremy Muffoletto, Jaqulyn Kaht, Kristi Lopez, Kalynn Greeley, and Kasie Greeley; great-grandchildren, Stetson (Kennedy), Shaylee, Shyanne, and Shane Parkinson, Gracie Cox, Mackenzie Walters, Jada Butler, William McCoy, Emma Simoneou, Quinn Simoneou, Wyatt Kaht, Emery Kaht, Makaio Lopez, Malakai Lopez, Milo Lopez, Kyle Payne, Riley Greeley, Eliza and Theo Bryan; and great, great-grandchild, Jukes Parkinson. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Alvern Greeley; son, Douglas Lloyd Greeley; parents, Lloyd William and Opal Mae Greeley; and siblings Bud Greeley and Mona Rae Greeley.
