Ora D. Ragland was born on December 11, 1971, in Huntsville, Alabama. God called her home on September 18, 2024. Ora D. Ragland was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Tibbs, and survived by her father, Joe Tibbs.
On August 2, 2015, she gave herself to Christ at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in New Market, Alabama. She loved to cook, garden, read, and be around her family.
She leaves behind one loving son, Jaylin Love; a special friend, Jimmy Love; and seven siblings: Joe A. Tibbs (Inez Walker), Corrine Smith, Connie Tibbs (Craig Scott), Diane Ragland (Eric Morrow), Odell Earskine, Mary Tibbs, and Michael Tibbs; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special cousin, Greg Tibbs.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Royal Chapel of Memories (4315 Oakwood Avenue NW Huntsville, AL 35810) with Pastor Willie Lee Caudle officiating. Interment will be in the Triana Cemtery.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2024 and 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Royal Funeral Home.
