Mrs. Opal Marie Bloodworth, age 87 of Athens, AL passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Bloodworth was born on November 21, 1931 in Limestone County to Will Crouch and Bessie Nixon Crouch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas J. Bloodworth; 2 sisters, Helen Patrick and Dorothy Davis.
Mrs. Bloodworth is survived by her son, Michael Bloodworth (Pamela); daughter, Amanda Pack (Greg); grandchildren, Casey Curry (Dustin), Brittany Baugher (Garrett), Ethan Bloodworth (Lauran) and Beth Travare (Aaron); 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Goode (Jerry) and Mae Freeman; brothers, Willie Crouch, Kenneth Crouch (Gail) and Jamie Crouch; several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Bloodworth will be at 2:00PM on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bill Irby officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 prior to the service. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Crouch, Jamie Crouch, Robbie Taymon, B.J. Jarrett, Tyler Goode, Matthew Jarrett, Austin Jarrett and Dustin Curry.
