Memorial services for Mrs. Opal Faye Rye, age 71, will be held at 3 PM Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with visitation starting at 2 PM.Mrs. Rushing, a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a retired nurses aid, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Reelfoot Manor Healthcare in Tiptonville, TN.
Mrs. Rye was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Rye; her mother, Nalmer “Sis” Birmingham Harmon; and her father, Homer Jefferson Rushing.
Mrs. Rye is survived by her son, Robert Rushing; and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
