Opal Doricelene McAllister Howell, 80 of Big Cove, passed away Saturday at her home. Mrs. Howell was a member of the Holiness Church for 63 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lucille McAllister, brother James McAllister, and sister Frances Burke.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert N. Howell, daughter, Leneda Kay (Joe) Witherow; two sisters, Mildred (Shelby) Hill and Deveda (Carroll) Stone, granddaughter, Casie Witherow, grandson, Keith (Kedsi) Witherow, and great-grandchildren, Gage and Kali Witherow.
Visitation will be at Big Cove Holiness Church on Sunday, September 15th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at the church on Monday, September 16th at 11:00 a.m. with Scott Howell and Lee Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville is assisting the family.
