Mrs. Onvie Marie Wood, 81, of Scottsboro, passed away peacefully at her home, Sunday, July 16th.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, July 22nd. from 11:00 – 2:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel of Scottsboro.
She is survived by her children, Nena (Patrick) Stills, Ricky Wood and Lisa; brother, Glenneth Needham; sisters, Marylin Hanners, Jewell Dean Trussell; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson on the way, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Connard Wood, son Michael Dewayne Wood, and great grandchild Justin Wood.
