Onnie Lee Faulkner, age 82 passed away March 30, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Guys, TN August 16, 1940, son of the late Homer and Myrtic Brooks Faulkner. He grew up in Guys and Henderson and attended Chester County High School.
He married Linda Frye December 22, 1962, and they made their home in Chester County.
He worked for the Edwards Bag Factory in Bemis for about 5 years and then began his career as an auto mechanic. He owned and operated Lee’s Repair in Henderson for about 40 years.
He liked riding horses and wagon riding. He also loved watching his grandchildren play sports.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Faulkner of Finger, TN; two sons, Ronnie Faulkner (Jill) and Kevin Faulkner (Amy) both of Henderson, TN; four grandchildren, Katelyn Watkins (Jacob), Brayden Faulkner, Ashley Davidson (Hayden), and Whitney Faulkner; two great grandchildren, Berklee Watkins and Sloane Watkins and one on the way.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday April 2, 2023, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel. Burial will follow at Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue Chapel on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM service time.
