Onella Sue Sharp Davis Profile Photo Onella Sue Sharp Davis, a beloved member of the Waynesboro community, peacefully passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on August 18, 1933, to her loving parents Osbie and Neva Luna Sharp in Waynesboro, TN, Sue’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and kindness.

Sue’s union with Ralph Davis on February 24, 1950 was a bond that stood the test of time until Ralph’s passing on October 29, 2010. She found solace and strength in her faith as a member of the Wayne Furnace Church of Christ, embodying compassion and generosity in all aspects of her life.

Sue found joy in supporting and helping her husband and son in their endeavors, cultivating vibrant gardens, cheering on sports teams, and cherishing moments with her grandson Logan.

She is survived by son, Danny Davis and wife Beth Corn Davis of Waynesboro, TN; grandson, Logan Davis of Waynesboro, TN; sister, Ivagene LeGate of Nashville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her twin sons, Ralph and Richard Davis; daughter, Sandra Davis; and sister, Catherine Collins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN with Kerry Franks and Marlon Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Gary Davis, Kevin LeGate, Phillip LeGate, Byron Davis, Tim Cummings, and Kevin Harden.
