O'Neal Johnson Profile PhotoFuneral services for O’Neal Johnson,74 , a retired carpenter from Corinth, MS, are set for Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 1pm at Magnolia Funeral Home -EAST with interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 5pm-8pm and Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 12pm -1pm at Magnolia Funeral Home East. Bro. George Kyle will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jason Johnson, Mark Johnson, Stanley VanHaitsma, Paul Johnson, Travis Eaton and Noah Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Charlie Wilbanks, Troy Leon Wilbanks, Jacob Wilbanks, Dexter Johnson, Troy Wilbanks and Timmy Johnson. Mr. Johnson passed away on November 4, 2023, at his home in Corinth. He was born on August 15, 1949 in Corinth.

O’Neal was a highly skilled and dedicated carpenter who spent many years honing his craft. His commitment to his work was unparalleled, and his attention to detail was truly remarkable. Throughout his career, O’Neal created countless beautiful structures that became a testament to his exceptional talent.
O’Neal developed a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors from a young age. He had a passion for gardening and spent countless hours tending to his plants and watermelons with care and precision. His green thumb brought life and beauty to every corner of his garden. Fishing and hunting were some of O’Neal’s favorite pastimes. He found solace in the tranquility of nature and enjoyed the thrill of the hunt. Whether casting his line into the water or patiently tracking game through the woods, he cherished these moments of solitude and connection with the natural world. In addition to gardening and outdoor activities, O’Neal had a keen interest in woodworking. He embraced this hobby wholeheartedly and spent endless hours crafting intricate pieces of furniture. Each creation was a testament to O’Neal’s skillful hands and artistic vision. He valued spending quality time with his loved ones, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

O’Neal is survived by his sisters, Darlene Watkins and Barbara Wilbanks and husband Troy; brothers, John Wayne WJohnson and Charles Johnson and wife Janet; sister-in-law, JoAnn Johnson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife , Daphne Burns Johnson; father, Lewis H. Johnson; mother, Nora Lucille Duboise Johnson; sisters, Wanda Jean Tubby, Glenda Eaton and Nancy Johnson and his brothers, David Johnson and Daniel Howard Johnson. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Danny O’Neal Johnson.
