HARTSELLE-The Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents made an arrest in a meth lab case.  Here is a statement from Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin:

“On Friday, January 8th, 2016, Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents made an arrest in a meth lab investigation. On December 31st, 2015, Agents were called to an abandon residence in Hartselle in reference to someone finding a meth lab. Agents discovered that someone had placed a meth lab and other chemicals in the trash can. Agents were able to develop a suspect from the evidence that was discovered.
Friday, January 8th, 2016, agents arrested Chadwick Lamar Alexander, 40, of Hartselle. Alexander admitted to cooking methamphetamine at another location and discarding the lab at the abandon residence. Agents charged Alexander with Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance 1st and Trafficking methamphetamine. Alexander remains in the Morgan County Jail with a $10,000.00 bond.”
