ATHENS-Athens Police made an arrest of one man for Robbery of a Business. Here is the statement from Police Chief Floyd Johnson on the arrest:
“On August 6, 2015 Officer Jason Mullins found The First and Last Stop on Hwy 127 and Airport Road broken into. The door to the business had been broken out. Missing was beer, cigarettes and several packs of Copenhagen. A photo from the security system showed a white male later identified as Barry Kent Wisdom as being the one that broke in the store. Wisdom was interviewed the next day and confessed to the crime. Wisdom was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail.”
