One Dead And Two Injured In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Cullman

CULLMAN-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person and sent two other individuals to hospital:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, has claimed the life of a Dora man.

Wayne K. Ferguson, 44, was fatally injured when the 2000 Chevrolet S10 he was driving collided head-on with the 2021 GMC Sierra driven by Fernando Garcia-Hernandez, 38, of Albertville. Ferguson was pronounced deceased at the scene. Passengers of the Sierra, Johnathan Gallegos-Torres, 21, of Albertville, and a 17-year-old were transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

 

The crash occurred on Alabama 69 near the 253 mile marker, approximately four miles northeast of Cullman, in Cullman County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
