One Dead After Shooting In Hazel Green

HUNTSVILLE – On December 2, 2024, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic-related shooting incident in the 100 block of Butch Circle, Hazel Green, Alabama.

Upon arrival, Sheriff deputies located 20-year-old Jo’Miya Ann Wilson deceased on the front porch of the residence. An investigation revealed that the victim suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect was detained and transported to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) for questioning. Although no charges have been filed at this time, the investigation is ongoing.
