On March 7, 2017 Don Eliott Neely with Grace and Humor won the battle and went to meet the Lord, while surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born December 31, 1942 in Baton Rouge Louisiana, to Martin and Frances Smith Neely. He was raised in Huntersville Tennessee and married to Judy Selby on November 18, 1960 and moved to Henderson in 1964. He began a lifelong love and career of car repair as owner operator of M&N Body Shop. He was an avid reader, NASCAR fan, and motor home enthusiast with one motor home being featured in a National Publication. In later years he enjoyed fishing with his grandsons. Mr. Neely was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Judy Selby Neely, two daughters, Kerry Lecornu (Keith) of Henderson, Connie Garey of Jackson and son D.J. Neely (Tonya) of Henderson. His beloved grandsons Chad Neely, Kurt Lecornu, Alex Garey, Cameron Neely, Eli Garey, and Blaize Neely, two great granddaughters, Abby and Kami Neely. Sisters Bobbi Anne Taylor, of Memphis, TN and Frances Bobbitt (Jimmy) and brother Ricky Neely (Beth) both of Jackson. A brother in law Johnny Selby (Debra) and mother in law Pauline Selby.
