Oma Idell Childers, 87, of Toney, passed away Tuesday, January 26.
Oma was a member of the Meridianville Holiness Church.
She is survived by her children, Doris Ann Childers, David Lee Childers (Sherry), Rockey Lane Childers (Leslie), and Stoney Heith Childers; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; siblings, James “Jake” Kirkland (Pat), Doris Key, and Helen Thomas; sister-in-law, Kathleen Kirkland; and her previous sister-in-law, Peggy Kirkland Stephens. Oma is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Louis Childers; and her son, Roger Dale Childers.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Friday, January 29 at 11 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with Reverend Dale Cantrell and Reverend Edward Atchley officiating. Interment will be at Elkwood Cemetery.
