Mrs. Ollie Mae Wilson, age 98, of Tuscaloosa, AL and formerly of Vernon, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at Crimson Village, in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. Wilson was born July 9, 1925, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Lonnie and Pearl O’Mary. She was a homemaker and was married to the late Eris Wilson. Mrs. Wilson was also preceded in death by three brothers, Henry O’Mary, Charlie O’Mary, and Roy O’Mary, and one sister, Virginia Taggart.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 17, at 12:00 PM, at the First Free Will Baptist Church, with Bro. Mike Dankson and Bro. Joe Beckon officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be at the church 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby (Kay) Wilson of Northport, AL and Freddie (Sheril Ann) Wilson of Tuscaloosa, AL; four grandchildren, Marty (Staci) Wilson, Amanda (Lee) Delchamps, Jessica (Patrick) Sheehy, and Victoria (Brandon) Holden; six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Addi Belle, and Crawford Wilson, Oliver and Cecilia Delchamps, and Patrick Sheehy, Jr.; and one brother, James O’Mary of Birmingham, AL.
