Olivia Faye Maynor, age 58, of Bridgeport, AL passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23rd, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Faye was born on June 13th, 1964, in Jasper, Tennessee. Faye was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She was a cheerful giver who loved buying gifts for all her family. She was baptized into Christ last year by Bro. Danny Rader of Bridgeport Church of Christ, but because of health issues was unable to attend services.
Faye is preceded in death by her father Albert Nelson; grandparents Tom and Sue Dalton; special uncle and aunt Bobby and Glenda Dalton; and her special friend Mr. Woody.
Faye is survived by her mother Betty Martin of Bridgeport, AL; her children Sharon Maynor of Bridgeport, AL and Timothy (Erica) Maynor of Stevenson, AL; Her grandchildren Cam Hutchins and Charlotte Maynor of Bridgeport, AL; Athena and Marvin of Stevenson, AL; her brother Gene (Norma) Martin; and sisters Joy Randolph of South Pittsburg, TN and Lisa Martin of Panama City Beach, FL; her best friends Ja’Khia and Keidra Hutchins of Bridgeport, AL; uncle and aunt Rick and Jane Scott of South Pittsburg, TN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank North Alabama Hospice and especially Mackenzie Peacock for the wonderful care given to Faye and a special thanks to Danny Rader for everything he has done for the family.
Per Faye’s request there will be no visitation or public funeral. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bancorp South in Bridgeport, AL to help with funeral expenses.
