Oleta Chambers Johnson, born July 10, 1939, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at UAB Hospital at the age of 83. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2023 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Ronnie Johnson will officiate. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Michael Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Marchel Johnson; sons, Darryl Johnson and Joey Johnson; grandchildren, NaTasha Johnson, Brittany Garmon (Craig), Stephanie Johnson, Tyler Johnson (Danielle) and Jon Johnson (Kimi); great grandchildren, Saylor Kole Johnson, Alexis Garmon, Everleigh Johnson, Addie Garmon, Elleigh Johnson, Caleb Johnson and Hunter Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
