Olene Talley Norman of Florence, Alabama passed away on July 5, 2017 on the day she celebrated her 86th birthday. Olene was a loyal employee at Bank Independent for 32 years where she retired at the age of 80.
A visitation will be held Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Greenview Funeral Home from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service following in Greenview Memorial Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, John Riley Norman; son, Rudolph Norman; parents, Rev. Millard (MA) and Opal Jones Talley; brothers, Don Talley and Johnny Talley.
She was survived by her daughter, Sandy Berry; sons, John Norman and Ricky (Tish) Norman; brother, Bobby Talley(Marie); sisters, Jen Davis, Margie Moore and Leigh McGee as well as, 5 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her oldest and dearest friend, Chubby Stewart, whom she dearly loved.
