Olene Pye, 80, Phil Campbell, passed away on Monday, August 04, 2014 at her residence.
Olene was a loving mom and sister, an angel to all her friends, and a beautician. She was a member of New Bethlehem Church for many years. She and her late husband, James, spent many happy years together sharing a special bond. Olene was a very out-going lady who would do anything for anyone.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Turbyfill (husband, Mark); sisters, Faye Oliver (husband, Dennis), Joan Kempf (husband, Ron); 15 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Pye; and parents, William Berry & Jewell Mae Seay.
The pallbearers will be Barry McAfee, Justin McAfee, Brian McAfee, Chris McAfee; Kyle Baker, and Eric Turbyfill. The honorary pallbearers will be Austin McAfee and Ryan Kempf.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 06, 2014 at New Bethlehem Church, Haleyville, AL. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 07, 2014 at New Bethlehem Church, Haleyville, with the burial in the adjoining cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Merle Potter.
