Mrs. Ola Murcks Taylor of Oden Ridge passed away on Oct. 25, 2017 at her residence at the age of 83. She was born on Aug. 15, 1934 in Arkansas to Melvin and Etta Smith Murcks. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Magdalene England; brothers, Jimmy, Jerry and Milton Murcks.
Funeral services are on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Byron Brown officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Cullman.
Survivors are husband, Shefton E. Taylor; daughters, Carol (Vick) Brown, Melissa Taylor, Theresa Taylor, Melvie (Joel) Holmes; son, Carl (Donna) Taylor; sisters, Martha White, Myra Estes, Fay Brown; brother, James Murcks; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Shannon Brown, Chad Brown, Grant Holmes, Skyler Brown, Joseph Nelson and Max Schrimsher.
