TUSCUMBIA-For to days in September Tuscumbia welcomes a special Native American gathering to celebrate the culture and traditions of American Indians who once lived in the north Alabama region. Oka Kapassa: Return to Coldwater introduces North Alabama’s Indian heritage in an entertaining and educational way by offering hands-on activities and demonstrations.
On Friday 4th and 5th graders were invited to experience Oka Kapassa through Native American music, demonstrations and special programs held throughout the day.
