TUSCUMBIA-The Oka Kapassa Festival is a special Native American gathering held annually the 2nd full weekend of September in Spring Park, Tuscumbia, Alabama to celebrate the culture and traditions of Native Americans who once thrived in North Alabama.
This year was no exception. There was great weather, happy crowds and fun for all. The music was awesome and the crafts and dancing were awe-inspiring. The Quad Cities Daily was on hand to enjoy the fun and native food and we present the weekend to you in photos. Enjoy!
