Funeral service for Rev. Odie Davis Curvin, 85, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Flint Creek Baptist Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers and Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Cullman Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m.

Bro. Curvin passed away Sunday, October 23rd, 2022 at his residence. He was born May 5, 1937 to William M. & Gertrude Vaughn Curvin. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church and served in the ministry for over 55 years, including a jail ministry. He owned his own trucking business and his family was very important to him. He served his country in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert James Curvin and Albert ‘Doug’ Curvin; sisters, Sara Ella Curvin, Princess Weeks and an infant son.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Earlene Curvin; children, Vernon Curvin, Randal Curvin, Melodie Thomason; brother, Billy Curvin and Hilda; sister, Jennie Jones and Rayburn Jones; grandchildren, Brad and Alicia Curvin, Christy and Anthony Kimbril, John Curvin, Angel Curvin, Joshua Lee Thomas, Matthew Thomason, Ashley Harris, Joshua Curvin, Kaylie Curvin, Austen Cadiere; a host of great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brad, Buddy, Josh, Matt, Anthony, Kenny.
