Funeral for Odes Arnold Alexander, 79, of Trinity will be Friday, August 7, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Wayne Turner and Greg Compton officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Alexander, who died Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at his residence, was born July 30, 1937, in Lawrence County to Guy Odes Alexander and Lou Ellen Alexander. He retired from Wolverine Tube and was a member of Berea Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping in the Smokies with his family. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Sue Jenkins Alexander; three sons, Dean Alexander (Wanda), Mark Alexander (Debbie) and Jim Alexander (Tina); three daughters, Beth Compton (Greg), Margaret Free (Rex) and Doreatha Lowery (Rodney); 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons.
