Ocie Lorex Abbott, Jr., 75, passed away November 24, 2024 at his home. He was a graduate of Algoma High School. He worked in the furniture industry until the time he retired. He enjoyed eating at 41 Fish House on the weekends. He loved keeping in touch with his former classmates.
A graveside service will be at 11:00am Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Springville Cemetery. Bro. Mitchell Morphis will officiate. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors, sister-in-law, Ann Abbott; nephew, Marty Abbott; 2 nieces, Lori Reeves and Amanda Grubbs (Jason); 2 great-nephews, Will Reeves and Corbin Abbott; 3 great nieces, Jamie Bryant, Jayce Grubbs and Jayden Miller; and a host of cousins.
Preceded in death by, parents, Ocie and Mable Abbott; sister, Barbara Abbott; brother, W.L. “Dub” Abbott; a niece-in-law, Tanya Abbott.
