Mr. Oather W. Harmon Jr., 77, of Florence, died Wednesday Oct. 23, 2013. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. today at Greenview Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park, with Miles Stutts officiating.
Mr. Harmon was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 36 years of service and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors are his wife, Virginia Faulkner Harmon; children, Susan L. Shedd (Jim), Tuscumbia, Teresa L. Turner (Johnny), Killen, and David W. Harmon, Florence; brother, Ronnie Harmon (Jane), Huntsville; grandchildren, Chad Springer, Christopher Michael, Katie Brooke Wear (Dustin), Emily Kate Turner, and Anna Wooten; and great-grandchild, Jax Evan Turner.
