Nyrevere Emanuel Talley passed in his home of Fayetteville, NC on August 24, 2023 at the age of 53 after a long battle with cancer. He was born February 16, 1970 to Alice (Freddy Johnson) and William Golden.
Emmanuel attended Bradford School. Baseball and basketball was his passion, his charm and beautiful smile and the love for people were remarkable. He was class president of his senior class of 1989. After graduating high school, Emmanuel joined the Army National Guard for 17 years. Sergeant Talley was honorably discharged.
Emmanuel leaves to cherish his loving wife Kathy; three children, Jerrod, Jelisa and Jeniqua; one special son, Devin; grandchildren whom he loved more than life, Nyreyana, LaRiya, Nia, Miya, Kainan, Na Javian, Jaden, Iyanla, Honsti, Jalia, Amari and Trulee; one great grandson, Sanilien; and a host of nieces, nephews and one special friend, Michael Wade. He also leaves five sisters and four brothers, Yvonne (Oladipupo Sangole) Smyrna, TN, Christy (Quincy Lewis) Bradford, TN, Tracey King, Rockford, IL, Samora Hall, Dyersburg, TN, Trevetta Foulks (Huntigdon, TN) Thomas Michael, Omar Golden,, Corinth, MS, Terry Armstrong, Milan, TN, Rodney Armstrong, Lansing, MI.
Emmanuel was preceded in death by his stepfather, Willie Talley; brother, Fred Scates; sisters, Jackie Yancy and Lisa Talley.
