Nyoka Joan Boles Perkins age 75, of Union Grove passed away Sunday March 10, 2024, at Marshall Medical Center North. Born on Oct. 4, 1948, in Madison County, AL she was the daughter of Reece and Wilma Richards Boles. She worked for many years in clothing manufacturing for Vanity Fair/Wrangler. She was preceded in death by her parents: Reece and Wilma Boles; sister: Anna Wood; brother: Hector Boles; son: Andy Perkins; son in law: Darrell Scott; sister in law: Annette Boles; sister in law: Carmen Boles; nephew: Jerry Boles; niece: Stefanie Culpepper and nephew: Sean Boles. She is survived by her daughter: Tina Scott; grandsons: Justin Scott and Nathan Scott; brothers: Wayne R. Boles, Michael (Charlotte) Boles and Noel Boles; sisters: Teresa (Don) Tindall and Lady (Gary) Hood; host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral Service will be Thursday March 14, 2024, at 2 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with Bro. Glenn Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Mtn. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Thursday at Gober Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be: Nathan Scott, Johnny Hayes, Lannie Lake, Don Tindall, Zach Devers and John Michael Boles.
