NWSCC to offer 2024 Kids in College

The summer camp is open to children entering grades first through sixth in the fall. Each day participants will experience STEAM related activities in science, technology, engineering, art and math in relation to art.

“Our camp participants that are going into the fifth grade and older will experience programing a robot, as well as other STEAM related activities,” said NWSCC Director of Child Development Programs, Jacque Jefferys. “The younger participants will learn science, technology, engineering, art and math concepts through meaningful art activities and experiences.

Healthy snacks will be provided daily. Children are to arrive promptly at 8:00 a.m. in the Patriot Center (gym) on the Shoals Campus. Each day’s events will conclude at 12 p.m. Friday, July 26, will feature a showcase of the week’s work. Registration cost is $90 per child. Spaces are limited and early registration is encouraged. Deadline for registration is July 15.
