NWSCC to hold Spring Cleanup event on Shoals campus Friday April 26

MUSCLE SHOALS – Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) taking part in the annual Alabama PALS (People Against a Littered State) “Don’t Drop It On Alabama” Statewide Spring Cleanup. NWSCC is partnering with Coca-Cola UNITED, Alabama RC&D and Keep the Shoals Beautiful to hold a beautification event on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM on the Shoals campus.
The Don’t Drop It on Alabama Statewide Spring Cleanup event is open for the public to join college faculty, staff, and students during the clean-up efforts. To volunteer, register at https://shorturl.at/FOUZ3.
 The annual Alabama PALS “Don’t Drop It on Alabama” Statewide Spring Cleanup and recycling event continues to expand, this year welcoming more community colleges to the initiative through a partnership with the Alabama Association of Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Councils. The event will focus on the Shoals campus and roads in close proximity to campus.
The event will  be held Friday, April 26, 2024; the event will start with a light breakfast and check presentation at 8:30 AM and cleanup at 9:00 a.m. in the Patriot Center (gym) on the Shoals Campus. Meet at the NWSCC Shoals campus; 800 George Wallace Blvd., Muscle Shoals, AL 35661.
