MUSCLE SHOALS – Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) hosted a resource workshop for Northwest Alabama’s active-duty military, veterans, and their families on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in the seminar room of building 110 on the Shoals Campus.
MUSCLE SHOALS – Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) hosted a resource workshop for Northwest Alabama’s active-duty military, veterans, and their families on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in the seminar room of building 110 on the Shoals Campus.This was made possible due to a sponsorship from the Alabama Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils (RC & D) and the Alabama Community College System.
The workshops engaged military active-duty, guardsmen, reservists, retirees, veterans and their dependents on the local services and programs available to them through Alabama’s community colleges. These services include access to veteran service officers, veteran educational benefits, apprenticeships, career services, mental health support, and credentials.
